Mold manufacturing cost is composed of 5 core parts, with different proportions based on mold type and precision:
  • Material Cost (20%-30%): Mold steel, standard parts (guide pins, ejector pins) and auxiliary materials.
  • Processing Cost (40%-60%): CNC, EDM, wire cutting and other processing fees, the largest cost item.
  • Labor Cost (15%-25%): Salaries of designers, operators and fitters.
  • Design & Trial Mold Cost (≤10%): Design fee and trial mold material & labor cost.
  • Other Fees (5%-10%): Equipment depreciation, workshop rent and management fees.
